Dr. Estee Marchesani (or simply "Dr. Estee") is a licensed psychologist in private practice in Dallas, Texas. She offers individual, couple, and group therapy to adults.
Dr. Estee received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Southern Methodist University. She earned her Master's and Doctoral degrees in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Texas.
She completed her pre-doctoral internship (accredited by the American Psychological Association) at University of Texas at Dallas Student Counseling Center in Richardson, Texas, and then completed her post-doctoral fellowship at Southern Methodist University’s Counseling Services. In both positions, she provided individual, group, and couples counseling to undergraduate and graduate students.
She has specialized clinical and research training in the etiology and treatment of physical, emotional, and sexual interpersonal trauma and abuse among adults. Her doctoral dissertation investigated the distinction between Complex PTSD, PTSD, and Borderline Personality Disorder. She also has clinical training in treating high functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Along with her private practice, Dr. Estee is a part-time psychologist at the University of Texas at Dallas Student Counseling Center.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Estee resides in Dallas with her husband and their Therapy Dog “Mister.” She enjoys exercising outdoors, considers herself to be somewhat of a “foodie,” and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
