Connection is at the heart of my approach to therapy. Research shows that connection and fit between client and therapist is one of the most important factors for effective therapy.* In order to foster the connection, I strive to build a safe and non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable focusing on yourself and sharing whatever is on your mind. During our sessions we will explore your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and relevant past experiences. I approach therapy with warmth, validation, and support, as I gently nudge you outside of your comfort zone.

 

 I combine a strengths based approach with evidence based treatment interventions from a variety of modalities that are tailored specifically from your goals and treatment needs. I draw from Relational-Cultural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Psychodynamic, Systemic Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. 

 

Through the process of therapy, you can expect to gain self-awareness, insight, and personal growth. We will work together to help you move towards thriving in your life and relationships.
